Dale Williams

Board Certified, Civil Trial Advocacy – National Board of Trial Advocacy.

Board Certified, Personal Injury Trial Law – Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

"Dale Williams uses his easy going manner in the negotiation stages – which leads to exceptional settlements for his clients on complex cases -- and then the Jeckyl and Hyde comes out when he goes to trial. He's very ethical, but he's a tenacious fighter in the courtroom… I’d rather fight a wharf rat." - Noley Bice, General Counsel of Baylor University, former shareholder of Fulbright, Winniford, Bice & Marable, Waco.

Dale Williams loves to build big cases for juries. His trial experience spans product liability, medical negligence, and commercial litigation.

Dale grew up in Texas City, the son of a chemical plant worker. He came to Waco at the age of 17 to attend Baylor University and Baylor Law School. Although he began his legal career with a commercial law firm, he soon focused on the personal injury matters that came to the firm. In 1981, Dale formed his own firm to focus specifically on litigation.

In 1980, Baylor Law School asked Dale to establish and teach a course in personal injury trial law. Then in 1986, as a result of his trial work, Baylor Law School invited Dale to add a course in product liability law. During twenty-eight years of teaching, the law school graduating class has honored Dale by selecting him to be commencement speaker on five occasions.

Dale's trial work has resulted in Larry King featuring him on Larry King Live. One of Dale's trial victories was the subject of the book Dark Obsession by Peter Meyer, ultimately published in four languages. He has previously served on the Board of Directors of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, as President of the Central Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and as President of the Waco-McLennan County Bar Association.

Dale and his wife, Barby, met at Baylor and they have two grown children, both married. Dale is an avid fly fisherman and has a second home in Beaver Creek, Colorado. In his spare time he is working on his second novel, a legal thriller.
